These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nights mobile application ("the app", "Nights") and the website at mynightsapp.com ("the website"). By using Nights, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Nights is an iOS application that helps you track hotel stays. The app can sync hotel reservations from your Gmail and Google Calendar, accept forwarded hotel confirmation emails, and display your travel history on a timeline. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Account & Authentication

Nights uses Google Sign-In for authentication. By signing in, you authorize Nights to access your Gmail (read-only) and Google Calendar (read-only) as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.

3. Email Forwarding

The email forwarding feature (stays@mynightsapp.com) is provided as-is. You acknowledge that:

• Forwarded emails are processed by automated systems to extract hotel reservation data.
• Parsing accuracy depends on the format of hotel confirmation emails and may not be perfect for all providers.
• You should only forward your own hotel confirmation emails.

4. Data Accuracy

Nights uses AI-powered parsing to extract hotel stay details. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all parsed information (dates, hotel names, addresses) will be correct. You should verify important reservation details with your hotel or booking provider directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Send spam, malicious content, or emails unrelated to hotel reservations to the forwarding address.
• Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service's infrastructure.
• Use the app in a way that violates Google's API Terms of Service.

6. Intellectual Property

Nights, including its design, code, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app or its content without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nights and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or damages resulting from inaccurate parsing of hotel reservations.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the app and revoke Google access at any time through your Google Account permissions.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
